This page explains what data CoinMarketGuy collects, why, and what you can do about it. The site is built to work with as little personal data as possible. If you only browse public pages, you do not need an account and you do not need to share personal info.

What we collect

Account data. If you sign up, we store your email address and an authentication credential (hashed). If you connect a wallet, we store your public wallet address. We do not store private keys or seed phrases ever.

Usage data. Standard server logs (IP, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) for security, abuse prevention, and aggregate analytics. Logs are retained for a limited period and are not sold.

Newsletter and product communications. If you subscribe to a list or join a waitlist, we keep your email and the list you opted into. You can unsubscribe from every email we send.

Cookies. Strictly necessary cookies for login and session state. Aggregate analytics cookies that help us see which pages people use. We do not run third-party ad-tech tracking pixels.

What we do not collect

Private keys, seed phrases, exchange API secrets, KYC documents, payment card numbers, or biometric data. If a feature ever requires any of those, it will be opt-in and documented before collection.

How we use it

To run the site, authenticate users, send emails you asked for, debug problems, prevent abuse, and improve the product. We do not sell your data and we do not share it with advertisers. Vendors that process data on our behalf (hosting, email delivery, analytics) only receive the minimum needed to do their job.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your personal data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. If you have an account, deletion removes the account and associated data. Email privacy@coinmarketguy.com from the address tied to your account.

Children

CoinMarketGuy is not intended for users under 18 and does not knowingly collect data from minors.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top and, where it affects existing users, send a notice. The current version always lives at this URL.
